Jan Moskyto Matejka 3df5adb23f serial: sc16is7xx: compile I2C when REGMAP_I2C is module
drivers/tty/serial/sc16is7xx.c:1060:12: warning: 'sc16is7xx_probe' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]
 static int sc16is7xx_probe(struct device *dev,
            ^
drivers/tty/serial/sc16is7xx.c:1176:12: warning: 'sc16is7xx_remove' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]
 static int sc16is7xx_remove(struct device *dev)
            ^
drivers/tty/serial/sc16is7xx.c:1215:29: warning: 'regcfg' defined but not used [-Wunused-variable]
 static struct regmap_config regcfg = {
                             ^

Fixed these warnings by removing the `#ifdef CONFIG_REGMAP_I2C' around their
calls as this driver selects REGMAP_I2C in Kconfig. This part of driver just
didn't compile at all when REGMAP_I2C configured as module (CONFIG_REGMAP_I2C
is not defined, just CONFIG_REGMAP_I2C_MODULE).

Jan Moskyto Matejka 3568a1dbf1 Documentation: update /proc/stat "intr" count summary
The sum at the beginning of line "intr" includes also unnumbered
interrupts. It implies that the sum at the beginning isn't the sum
of the remainder of the line, not even an estimation.

Fixed the documentation to mention that.

This behaviour was added to /proc/stat in commit a2eddfa959 ("x86:
make /proc/stat account for all interrupts")

Jan Moskyto Matejka 4b6eab5973 Revert "drm/i915: fix build warning on 32-bit (v2)"
This reverts commit 60f2b4af12.

The same warning has been fixed in e5081a538a and
these two commits got merged in 74e99a84de2d0980320612db8015ba606af42114 which
caused another warning. Simply, the reverted commit casted the pointer
difference to unsigned long and the other commit changed the output type from
long to ptrdiff_t.

The other commit fixes the original warning the better way so I'm reverting
this commit now.

Jan Moskyto Matejka 03b56329f9 Modpost: fixed USB alias generation for ranges including 0x9 and 0xA
Commit afe2dab4f6 ("USB: add hex/bcd detection to usb modalias generation")
changed the routine that generates alias ranges. Before that change, only
digits 0-9 were supported; the commit tried to fix the case when the range
includes higher values than 0x9.

Unfortunately, the commit didn't fix the case when the range includes both
0x9 and 0xA, meaning that the final range must look like [x-9A-y] where
x <= 0x9 and y >= 0xA -- instead the [x-9A-x] range was produced.

Modprobe doesn't complain as it sees no difference between no-match and
bad-pattern results of fnmatch().

Fixing this simple bug to fix the aliases.
Also changing the hardcoded beginning of the range to uppercase as all the
other letters are also uppercase in the device version numbers.

Fortunately, this affects only the dvb-usb-dib0700 module, AFAIK.

Jan Moskyto Matejka ee262ad827 inet: defines IPPROTO_* needed for module alias generation
Commit cfd280c912 ("net: sync some IP headers with glibc") changed a set of
define's to an enum (with no explanation why) which introduced a bug
in module mip6 where aliases are generated using the IPPROTO_* defines;
mip6 doesn't load if require_module called with the aliases from
xfrm_get_type().

Reverting this change back to define's to fix the aliases.

modinfo mip6 (before this change)
alias:          xfrm-type-10-IPPROTO_DSTOPTS
alias:          xfrm-type-10-IPPROTO_ROUTING

modinfo mip6 (after this change)
alias:          xfrm-type-10-43
alias:          xfrm-type-10-60
