Vendor-specific code that deals with SMI injection and saving/restoring SMM state is not needed if CONFIG_KVM_SMM is disabled, so remove the four callbacks smi_allowed, enter_smm, leave_smm and enable_smi_window. The users in svm/nested.c and x86.c also have to be compiled out; the amount of #ifdef'ed code is small and it's not worth moving it to smm.c. enter_smm is now used only within #ifdef CONFIG_KVM_SMM, and the stub can therefore be removed. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
